The difference between built-in frequency division and external frequency division of sound

1.The subject is different

1) built-in frequency divider: frequency divider( Crossover) installed in the sound inside the sound.

2) external frequency division: also known as active frequency division, frequency division(Crossover) is installed outside the sound, external frequency division has an electronic frequency divider or through the processor to process the signal.

2. Different characteristics

1) Built-in frequency division: When the audio signal is transmitted after amplification, the inner part of the frequency board is responsible for passing its capacitance, inductance and so on.

2)external frequency division: high, middle and low 3 channels of audio signal, there must be three power amplifier to receive the 3 channels of frequency division signal, after amplification transmission to the corresponding unit of the sound box.

3. Different advantages

1)Built-in frequency division: It does not fully meet the needs of all our systems. In cases where speakers (systems) or there is no power divider to separate the audio frequency bands, systems engineers need to find ways to artificially separate the audio bands.

2) external frequency division: each frequency band signals can be better used, the choice of frequency band is more elastic, high school bass band more clearly to concentrate on the expression of their own frequency domain content.
