12-inch 3-way neodymium units line array speaker

Short Description:

G-212 adopts a high-performance, high-power large three-way line array speaker. It contains 2×12-inch low-frequency driver units. There is one 10-inch mid-frequency driver unit with a horn, and two 1.4-inch throat (75mm) high-frequency compression driver units. The high-frequency compression driver units are equipped with a dedicated waveguide device horn. The low-frequency driver units are arranged in a dipole symmetric distribution around the center of the cabinet The mid and high-frequency components in a coaxial structure are installed at the center of the cabinet, which can ensure the smooth overlap of adjacent frequency bands in the design of the crossover network. This design can form a 90° constant directivity coverage with excellent control effect, and the control lower limit extends to 250Hz. The cabinet is made of imported Russian birch plywood and coated with a polyurea coating that is resistant to impact and wear. The front of the speaker is protected by a rigid metal grille.

Why Have Line Array Speakers Become the "Top Choice" in Professional Settings?

When a 10,000-person venue demands clear and consistent sound effects, and when concerts require a mind-blowing auditory experience, what makes line array speakers the go-to choice? The answer lies in their technical core and real-world performance! Traditional speakers scatter sound waves randomly, resulting in energy waste and sound quality degradation. Line array speakers, through precise arrangement of speaker units, enable sound waves to project accurately like "targeted sniping" - with concentrated energy and minimal waste. The sound pressure difference between near and far areas can be controlled within 3dB, meaning whether you're in the front row or 100 meters away, you can hear balanced and full sound quality.

Even more impressive is its efficiency revolution: under the same power, the sound field coverage of line arrays increases by 3 times, equivalent to achieving three times the effect with half the energy consumption. This is not only a technological dominance but also doubly friendly to budget and environmental protection. No wonder, from top-tier concerts to international sports events, from theater performances to large conferences, whenever an "immersive sound experience" is needed, line array speakers are always the backstage ace.

What's its secret? It reshapes the boundaries of acoustics using physical laws: by controlling sound wave paths through array interference, it focuses dispersed energy into a "sound wall", ensuring both lateral coverage and uniform vertical projection. This is not just a speaker, but a perfect collaboration between acoustic engineers and the laws of physics.
