What is an audio effector? The difference between audio effectors and audio processors

1、What is an audio effector?

There are roughly two types of audio effector:

There are two types of effector according to their principles, one is an analog effector, and the other is a digital effector.

Inside the simulator is an analog circuit, which is used to process sound.

Inside the digital effector is a digital circuit that processes sound.

1.When creating audio files, the VST plugin will be used. When editing audio files using FL Studio, select the corresponding VST plugin according to different needs, such as “mixing”, “noise reduction”, etc., to add different effects to the audio.

2.An audio effector is a peripheral device that provides various sound field effects, adding different audio effects to the input sound signal to produce special audio effects. For example, when we sing on KTV, we may find our voice clearer and more beautiful. This is all thanks to the audio effector

2、What is the difference between an audio effector and an audio processor

We can distinguish between two ranges:

From the perspective of usage scope: Audio effector are mostly used in KTV and home karaoke. Audio processors are mostly used in bars or large stage performances.

From a functional perspective, the audio effector can beautify and process the human voice of the microphone, with functions such as “echo” and “reverb”, which can add a sense of space to the sound. The audio processor is designed for sound processing in large audio systems, which is equivalent to a router in the audio system
